Understanding the “Why”?

Why? Asking yourself “why” with every…

trading decision will bring a much deeper clarity to your positions.
Why did this stock gap down?
Why did this stock gap up?
Why did this stock reverse at that level?
Why am I taking profits here?
The list of “whys” goes on.
Without a crystal clear answer to each “why” leaves
room for emotions to take over and dictate your trading decisions.
Perfect example of not having a clear answer to “why” is
taking profits seconds after your position is green.
All that says is you’re an emotional trader and do not truly
understand the “why” behind a move.
And that’s okay, good news is you can always learn. The choice is yours.
It’s important to understand this business is far more than learning
a simple set-up. Answering “why” is far more important than any set-up you’ll ever learn.
